Casa Bonita is a newly renovated holiday home with private swimming pool set in the olive groves of Andalucia.

Casa Bonita is in a small hamlet of La Realenga de Agicampe with similar houses, some of which are still used as small holdings by Spanish farmers. The views are spectacular, overlooking olive groves and further, towards the Sierra Nevada mountains and its famous world cup ski resort.

The house is convenient for both Granada (30 minutes) and Malaga (45 minutes) airports. The coast of the Costa Tropical is approx 50 minutes whilst the Costa del Sol is also approx 50 minutes away in the opposite direction. Ideal for exploring rural spain and the large cities of Granada, Seville and Cordoba with their rich history and amazing architecture, most notibly the Alhambra Palace in Granada and the Mezquita in Cordoba.

Casa Bonita sleeps 6 people in 3 Bedrooms, 1 double and two twin rooms. All Bedrooms have patio doors accessing a large roof terrace which has maginificant views of the surrounding countryside and the Sierra Nevada mountains in the distance. There are two shower rooms, one on the first floor and one on the ground floor. Both Shower Rooms have a large walk-in shower with rain shower fittings, basin and toilet. The Living Room is cosy and comfortable and is complete with large log burner for those intimate moments, for the less intimate times there is an LCD TV with  English satellite and a DVD player. Leading directly off the Living Room is a very large Sun Lounge which affords direct access to the pool area and terraces. Within the Sun Lounge is a large sofa with adjustable seating, coffee table, day beds and separate wine cooler and beer fridge. Leading off the Sun Lounge and also connecting to the Living Room is a Dining Room capable of seating 6. The Kitchen leads off from the Dining Room and is fully modernised with fridge/freezer, 5 ring gas cooker with oven, washing machine, dish washer, George Foreman grill, toaster, microwave oven, and plenty of storage units.

Garden furniture comprises of hardwood table with large parasol, chairs, steamers and gas BBQ. There is a gas patio heater for those more chilly winter evenings. There is a range of other garden furniture (tables, chairs and parasols) allowing all the various terraces to be used for sunbathing or dining. There is also an outside shower (cold water only), and sink (hot & cold water).

The pool measures approximately 4m x 8m and is fully tiled and overlooks the olive groves to the rear of the house. The pool is for the exclusive use of guests and is cleaned once a week.

There are tiled terraces surrounding the Casa, ensuring that the sun can be enjoyed until the last rays have disappeared in the evening.

Locality.
The area of the Poniente is to the west of Granada and was an important stronghold of the Moors during their occupation of Spain. The nearest large town of Loja, just 10 minutes drive away, is a typical Spanish town cascading down the hillside into the valley of Rio Genil. In Loja there are the remains of a Moorish castle, which has commanding views over the surrounding countryside. Loja has numerous bars were tapas is still served with your drinks, restaurants and shops. For those interested in trivia, the Marks Brothers film Duck Soup was partly filmed in the town. In Loja there is a modern outdoor swimming pool complex which has an Olympic sized pool and smaller childrens pools.

Closer to the Casa is the town of Huetor Tajar, which is a typical working town who's main product is asparagus. In Huetor Tajar there is again numerous bars and restaurants. There is also a smaller open air swimming pool and a new gym within the town

There are 2 bars in the local village, La Fabrica which is approximately a 15 minutes walk from the house and a further 2 bars at the end of the lane, all bars serve tapas with your drinks, and the 2 bars in La Fabrica serve excellent, if basic, food

Further afield Granada City is easily accessible in 40 minutes via the motorway. This world famous city has lots to offer; culture (the Alhambra),  shopping, wining and dining. Outside of Granada is the Sierra Nevada world cup ski resort, approx 1 hours drive from the Casa.

To the west is Antequera with its golf course.
